This is a tad late but I hope you all had a lovely christmas and wish you all the best for the new year!

I have been extremely slack with blogging and i'm not really sure why, I think I lost my mojo for a while but slowly feel it coming back, which is good. I have definitely missed blogging but just haven't really known what to blog about. Have you guys had that feeling before?

Onto a more positive note, uni is going great and I am having a really fab time.

OMG!! I have been slacking way too much!
I've been so busy :( I hate it, lol. I haven't even been able to read anyone's blog in ages!!! I seriously miss blogging and need to sort my comp out cos it's being a tad retarded :P
I have a coupla posts coming up, on recent purchases :D
I managed to get my hands on some of the new products from the Body Shop, the line was created by students at London College of Fashion, great stuff. I also picked up the new primer palette from Sleek, although I haven't tried it out yet. Anywho, I shall do a whole other post on things i've bought.

Let me know if there are any other good products I should get a hold of :P

BARGAIN!

Hey guys and dolls! Hope you're all well!!! =D I've been so slack with the whole blogging thang and i'm trying to catch up with all the posts i've missed :P

I turned 19 on Thursday [YAY ME] and my sister booked a photoshoot session at Studio 52 which is on Shaftesbury Avenue in London where they basically do your hair nails and make up and take photos etc, I may go into more detail about that if you guys want as it was a great present and could maybe be an idea if you have someone's birthday coming up. Let me know if you would like a whole other post on the experience and the photos we purchased :)

Anywhoooo, the whole point of this post was to show you this I found this little beaute hanging out on the shelves in my local Superdrug for only £1! I snapped it up like there was no tomorrow! I think they normally retail for around £10 and come out around the festive season, they include limited edition colours, it comes with two dazzledusts and a glitter eyeliner. Without flash

I seriously cannot believe I only paid a pound for this :P

I also purchased the Ardell Lash Starter kit :)
Think it was around £6. It comes with the 101 Demi lashes, some glue and a lash applicator, so I shall see how that goes! I'm alright at applying falsies but thought this looked fun, lol :P

I haven't really been buying much lately, been trying to save my doe! :D

I had a really fun new years eve, I went to watch the fireworks display in London with the bf :) We went the year before last aswell and learnt a valuable lesson to WEAR MORE LAYERS, so we did and we were nice and warm :P The fireworks display was amazing and it was a great night. I would recommend going next year, just make sure you wrap up warm, lol.

Hey guys! Hope you all had a wonderful christmas and ate loads :D
So who braved the boxing day sales? I didn't :P Instead me, my mum and brother drove down to my sisters as she made us some lovely jerk chicken, was so yummy :D My sister had to go get some carrots to go with the meal, I went with her and this resulted in some clothes shopping :P
I saw this jumper and it was love <3 it's so thick and warm! I love the chunky knit! Twas £18
Then my sister stumbled across this beauty! Super warm! And a freaking bargain at only £20, down from £45!!! :DSorry about the shite picture! :(
I love this trousers! £10 down from £20! They're made from cotton and sort of baggy at the top and slim down at the bottom, the bottom parts are rolled up too :D
My sister bought these three items for me, cos she's nice like that :) They're from a shop near her.

Anywho the next, me and the madre went to find some bargains and it's stressful! People are so pushy!
I really need to take photos during the day -.-
This top is from New look and was £5 down from £18 what a steal! It looks black, but it's dark brown.
Next up is this gorgeous top from TK Maxx, it was £11 down from £20. It looks ugly in the picture, it's better in real life :D The material is soooooo soft, it's made from nylon, angora and lambswool. Pair this with some leggings and boots and I'll be good to go :D
Last piece of clothing I picked up is this shirt also from TK Maxx, was £9.00 down from £16. I love the floral detailing, so pretty :)Got me some more Palmers Cocoa butter, it was 3 for 2, my sister took the blue bottle. I normally just stick to the white bottle but it was on offer so yeaaa :D

So those are just a few pieces I picked up in the sale, may get some more things :P

Ahhhhh the wonder that is Youtube and beauty vidoes :D
Someone who I really like watching is Gossmakeupartist who I mentioned in my Youtube love video. He's lovely :) not like I know him or anything, lol. Anywho I was watching a video he did on eyebrows and this guy speaks words of wisdom (Y)

I never thought about this until he mentioned it, esp the 'wide nose and flared nostrils bit,' makes a lot of sense :)

I deffo recommend checking his videos out!

A pathetic excuse of a snowman!

Boy oh Boy has it been cold! I'm not really that keen on snow tbh, lol, but me and some friends made a snowman which was tiny, hence the title of this post :P I'm not sure why it has branches in its head though :/ It looks like a right cheeky snowman.
I made a snow angel too but forgot to take a picture.
Now it's all turned to ice, making it incredibly hard to walk :(

Hey! Once again I haven't posted in a long time! I have some things to show you, I was going to include the make up in this post too but it'd be too long and I haven't uploaded the pics yet, I'll get round to it :P
So I popped off to Primark to get some black trousers but didn't end up getting any as they were either crap or too large. So I found other stuff I just NEEDED to have :)

Bag-£9.00 I SERIOUSLY needed a new bag, my old one's on death's door and this one is super cute and a good size:)

These beauts are definately my favourite purchase i've made in a while. They are so cute, they may not be to everyone's taste but I love them. They were £15.

Barry M nail paints, 2 for £5 at Boots and Superdrug. The one on the left is Dusky Mauve no 313 which i'm sure everyone has heard about, the one on the right no 161 Vivid Purple. I wanted to get Mushroom but they didn't have any left :(

I had a Boots £5 off voucher and got a blusher from no7
It's Crappy picture, sorry! took it late at night! Shade 12 Coral flush, it has slight shimmers running through it but you can't really tell when you apply it.

My sister came back from Cuba last week and picked me up the Benefit Smokin eyes palette. I was a bit hesitant to use it as i'm not the biggest fan of benefit, for me, their products just don't work. However, I have to say i'm really liking what i've tried so far. You get 3 eyeshadows at the top which I have used, they're really well pigmented and so smooth. You get an eyeliner, a small double ended brush, eye bright, brow zings shaping wax, tweezers and a little step by step guide. I've used the shadows and the tweezers and so far i'm liking it.
And again the packaging is cute :)

So yesterday I was reading Sabrina's blog over at a little obsessed and she had the two new sleek palettes and my brain was like BUY THEM NOW... so I did :D The Good girl palette and the Bad girl palette. The Good girl palette is limited edition so if you want it snap it up quick time! First off I think the packaging is shit, tacky, vile, especially the good girl palette. But it's going in the bin so that's fine, just my opinion, lol. Obviously not everyone will agree :)
However, the palettes more than make up for the cardboard packaging. THEY HAVE NAMES! WOO! Lol. Good girl palette. Top row, L/R: LYCHEE, MERINGUE, CANDY FLOSS, LOLLIPOP, PINK PUNCH, CUPCAKE.
Bottom row, L/R: STRAWBERRY SORBET, PINK GRAPEFRUIT, PEACH MELBA, PAPAYA, RASPBERRY COULIS, MORELLO.

I've also noticed that these shadows are more consistant, they're less crumbly then the first few palettes that Sleek came out with. They have really upped their game :)
I can see myself using the Bad girl palette more.

I then went to Tesco to check out some Barbara Daly make up, I have some polishes from the range, which I like and have heard good things about the make up. I picked up 2 things, both for £3.50 I got an easy-on-the-eye eyeshadow pen in cobweb and a light and easy shimmering highlighter.This is the eyeshadow pen, you twist the bottom and the product comes out from the top where the little white brush is.

Now this shimmering highliter is what suprised me, for only £3.50 the packaging is gooooooooooooood :D It comes with a cute little puff and has a mirror too!
You can kinda see it in this picture, you have to twist it round so the product can come out of the little holes and then you can twist it back soproduct doesn't go flying around everywhere. Good packaging! Swatches, L/R: eyeshadow pen in cobweb and shimmering highlighter.
I'm so impressed with the highlighter, it's a lovely colour!

Hey guys! I was meant to do the beginning part of this post a while ago because I wanted to show you an amazing bargain, but I was so busy :( anywho... I was wondering around Boots, ya know, as you do and spotted this beautyThe Frontcover to go palette, there have been a few of these palettes in the past but I never really thought much of them so didn't purchase any. However, instead of being the normal price of £35 it was only £16, a huge saving of £19! So I snapped it up right away. You get 13 baked eyeshadows, 7 pressed shadows, a mini double ended brush, a shadowline and a small 4 pan palette to put shadows into, great for on the go :)[ahaha, you can see me taking the picture :P]It also has photos of eye looks you can re-create along with info on how to do it. I actually tried one of the eyelooks from here and it came out nicely :DIt also has useful info on the back about what the shadowline is and how to use it. So if you do see this in Boots I deffo recommend trying it out!

I was in Sainsburys today with mummy dearest doing the weekly shop and spotted two tops in the sale, I don't normally buy clothes from Sainburys cos nothing really grabs my attention but that changed today :) First off is this long blue top with pockets [what a great description ehh][without flash]
[with flash]This was originally £15 but was half price so I got it for only £7.50
I then fell in love with this t-shirtIt's so simple yet lovely, I dannow, lol, I just love eit!
The original price for this was £8 and it had a 1/2 price sticker on but when I got to the checkout I was only charged £2.40 for it so what a bloody good deal!

I also got some Wellies as i'm going on a trip on monday to the beach! A place called Sizewell which is in Suffolk, to collect rubbish! No joke! So seeing as it'll probs be cold and wet I got these bad boys for £15They're black, shiny and have a nice texture which I will not attempt to explain :PI got them from priceless shoes, not sure how long they'll last but I needed something quick for Monday :)

Have you spotted the Frontcover palette in Boots or have you got it? What're your thoughts? Lemme know :D

A teeny weeny haul plus a ramble :)

Hey guys just have a few things to show you which I picked up yesterday but I just want to explain what i'm doing on my course and what we're doing atm :)

So i'm doing an art and design course (which i've mentioned before) and we're making a mask, the theme is freedom, so it doesn't need to be a typical sort of mask you wear on your face, it could cover your whole body or be something completely crazy. I was thinking of doing an eagle, cos ya know birds are free to do whatever and go where ever and it's like 'leaving the nest' the family home etc, but then I changed my mind, lol. We all seemed to give up on the theme of freedom so I was thinking of doing something vaguely about it; 'your skin is only a mask, no matter how much make up you put on, or how much surgery you have to enhance your features one day it'll all be gone, so be true to who you are and be free to express yourself' which is vaguely based on the idea of freedom. We have already created a mask which we moulded around our face using parcel tape and that's what we all had to start off with and we can take it from there and turn it into our own thing. I'm thinking of ripping mine up and doing one side as a just a normal face and the other as though the skin has been ripped off, so creating wounds and cuts etc.

Ahhh that was a long intro, lol.
Anyways.... I went to Charles Fox which is in Covent Garden to get the things I would need to create some cuts and wounds. BTW, it's an amazing shop, I highly recommend going there just to check it out, they stock special fx products, Kryolan, Ben Nye, Illamasqua and also some brushes, I should have taken some pics to show you guys but I totally forgot :P Firstly I picked up some scar wax and the brand I got is Kryolan. As you can see this cost me £5.70
I then picked up some spirit gum and this bottle was £3.60 and it's also by Kryolan.I needed some fake blood and there were so many to choose from. I didn't want runny blood so got this Kryolan fresh scratch blood effect which was £6.55 and it's quite thick and gloopy. I got it in the shade dark.
I also got a spirit gum remover, so it'll make things simpler when it comes to taking it off, this bottle was £3.60 So those were all the things I got for my wounds and I also picked a really fine brush which I want to use for my gel eyeliner, it's by Kryolan and it only cost £2.80 so i'm hoping it'll be good, lol.
As I was in Covent Garden, I popped along to the mac store to check out the new collection and I purchased two things both from the evil queen range.I got this blush in the shade Bite of an apple and it's a matte blush. It's sort a peachy, pinky kinda colour, it's lovely.I then got a lipglass in the colour Strange potion which is again, a sort of peachy pinky colour, i'm rubbish at describing, lol.Swatches, bite of an apple on the left, strange potion on the right. This is my first blush and lipglass from mac so I chose carefully, lol :)Please ignore the black eyeliner, it wouldn't come off -.-

That felt like a long post, lol. Hope it was interesting and not too dull, lol.

A mish mash of stuff :)

I have a few things to show you guys :D
First off I got my tragus pierced, yay!It's the tiny little shiny stud thing, lol. Didn't hurt as much as I thought it would :)

Also I was in the pound shop and I spotted this little gemAn original source bosy scrub and it smells amazing! Can't wait to use it!

Also I picked up a couple of magazines cos they had some freebies, lolWith marie claire you get a free Ciaté nail polish there's a choice of two polishes, a red one, and the one picutred below which is in the shade Dangerous Affair 013, it's a deep red kinda colour, these normally retail for £9 and the packaging is so cute!
In Style magazine are also giving away a mini l'occitane hand cream worth £7, you get a choice of 3 to choose from.They only had this one in my local tesco, so I picked it up, i've never tried any l'occitane products before but i've heard good things about them so I thought i'd give the hand cream ago seeing as it came free with a mag, lol.

Both magazines retail at around £3.50 :)

I got my hands on the new nail effects polish from Barry M and I love it :)
Superdrug has 2 for £5 on Barry M nail paints atm so I also picked up another colour which I have been lusting over which is 292 Navy. I couldn't wait to try out the nail effects I just painted it over the red polish I already has on, looks ahhh-mazing :D Have you guys tried this polish yet? What are your thoughts?

Omg! I have been so bad at blogging! :(
And it's not that I don't want to, i'm just super busy with the art and design course i'm doing and it's so tiring, so when I get home all I want to do is sleep, lol.I finish at 12 on Thursday's and have Friday's off, so it's an extra long weekend for me. I'm going to try to resume normal posting! I have seriously missed blogging so much! I have just managed to catch up on all blog posts and that took a while as I haven't been staying away from the computer to try and get work done. Lol.

Anyway... I was wondering around Boots, as you do, and I finally decided to pick up one of the 17 mirror shine lipsticksI got in the shade beehive as I heard a lot of good things about itI'm not going to ramble on about this colour as you've probably read about it on most blogs, lol. When I first tried it on I thought it looked so crap, it didn't seem to look right but the more I wear it the more I like it.You can see it's quite sheer but it is a very moisturising lipstick, there was also another shade which caught my eye which was in peach so I will deffo be picking that up :D Not a bad lippie for £3.99
I do have to add... I'm not too keen on the packaging! Lol.
Have any of you tried the mirror shine lipsticks? What are your thoughts?

Hey guys, I decided to go for something sparkly today :)

This is Mad as a hatter by OPI and it came out with the Alice in Wonderland collection, I got the little mini set :) I'll be sad when it' s gone though because it's an amazing polish filled with an imense amount of glitter. I have on only two coats! Now all I have to worry about is getting it off cos it'll be a right pain in the bum!

With the latest edition of Elle magazine you can get a free Deluxe foundation sample with a mini kabuki. The magazine retails for £3.70 and all you have to do is fill in a little voucher and take it to your nearest Bare Minerals counter and they will match you to your shade and give you a free deluxe sample. Hope this is useful to some of you :)I've never tried mineral foundation before so i'm excited, lol :)
Have you tried this foundation before? How did you find it?

ALSO, in Elle magazine, there's a sample of the new Lancome Teint Miracle foundation.

FINALLY! I have got my hands on two things I have been lusting after! First is the NAKED palette from Urban Decay which everyone and their mother seems to want :PDoesn't it just look gorgeous?I'm not going to bore you guys with swatches because you've probably seen them a lot on blogs or youtube videos. The packaging is amazing and the eyeshadows are so smooth and just superb!This retails for £27 which is so totally worth it as you get 12 eyeshadows, a double ended liner and a mini primer potion. I'm in love! <3

AND THEN...I also picked up the new book of shadows, I don't have the first two but this one is just amazing!Again, you have probably seen what this palette looks like. It opens up like the Alice in Wonderland palette, it lights up and just looks super pretty :)This retails for £30, 16 lovely eyeshadow, two eyeliners and mini primer potion which is deffo worth it!

I'm so glad I walked into Debenhams today, I seriosuly wasn't expecting them to be there.

I had a £5 off voucher for No7 so purchased the Stay Perfect Matte Top Coat for only £1.75. It's limited edition so if you want a matte top coat get your hands on it quick! Look out for matte nails in upcoming NOTD's :D

OMG! I love this colour!It's by L.A COLORS and it's a colour craze nail polish in Paradise Pink. The application was a dream, what you want every polish to be like and I only have on ONE COAT which is insane! It's opaque in one coat and dries quickly.
Lovely hot pink colour but when you look at it in the light you can see some purple undertones, which you can slightly see in the above pictures. It has a lot more dimension to it then what you see in the first picture. And all this for a bargain price of only £1.
Love this polish!

L.A. COLORS nail polish

While searching for my usual shortbread biscuits in the pound store I came across an L.A COLORS make up stand, I didn't really pay much attention to the make up but the polishes did catch my eye. I've seen a few videos on youtube mainly from American youtubers featuring these nail polishes so I thought i'd give them a go. I only got three, I didn't want to buy a lot for them to be a complete fail :D With flash

The Vibrant violet is a nail lacquer and the other two are called 'color craze' maybe part of a collection? I'm not sure, lol.

Pantene Pro-V aqua light!

I finally got round to getting the new range Pantene came out with after hearing good things about it. I'm not going to ramble on about what it claims because i'm sure you've all heard it or read reviews etc.I've used them twice and so far and i'm not sure, the first time I used them I thought what's all the fuss about but after using them the again my hair does feel slightly lighter and less weighed down. So I will continue to use them and maybe do a review after a while if you guys would like one?

Have you guys tried this range yet? Does it work for you?

Clinique 3 step system

I'm sure a lot of you heard about the Clinque '3 things to do before you're 30' programme thang where you could sign up to get free samples of the system, (I also did a post on it, so you guys could sign up) well my samples arrived today :D I'm going to start this sytem tomorrow, I hope it doesn't make my skin worse, lol. I don't really like the smell of the clarifying lotion :/

Did you guys sign up for samples? Have you tried this system or are you using it now? Let me know your thoughts on it and how it works for you :D I really want to know!

MUA shadow- shade 12

Finally my local Superdrug is stocking MUA products! YAY!
When I first picked up some MUA products I really wanted shade 12 but it was all sold out :( but I have finally got my hands on it :D
I mainly wanted this eyeshadow because FleurDeForce compared it to Club eyeshadow from mac which I have wanted for so long, lol.It looks like a really dark green in the packaging but when you swatch the shadow it has brown tones to it aswellIn the swatch you can slightly see some brown at the bottom, when you blend it out, that's when the brown really comes through. It's hard to take a picture of it but if you have a Superdrug near you that stocks the range, I really recommend checking this shadow out, it's a beauty :)

Have you guys tried this eyeshadow? What do you think of it?

NOTD-Water marbling!

In my last post I mentioned that I tried water marbling but it was a fail, well I tried it again and it was picture worthy :D Yay!IGNORE THE MIDDLE FINGER! IT WENT WRONG! As a base nail polish I have on Gosh's Wild Lilac and you can see what that looks like here. On my little finger I used a Barry M nail paint in Coral 296 and a Barbara Daly nail polish in Cardinal.
On the rest of them I used Barry M nail paints in Turquoise 295 and Grey 293.
This is such a messy process and I watched a few tutorials on youtube before attempting to do it myself.

On my nails I'm wearing a Gosh nail polish in 571 Wild Lilac. It's lovely! I've got two coats on all nails apart from the index finger which has only one coat and there is no difference!

Also I tried water marbling on my nails and it was just a big FAIL! I will practice some more and uploads some pictures if they turn out decent, lol.

I have two coats on and a top coat. The application of this was lovely, super smooth and it dried pretty quickly. I will be picking up more of the MUA polishes.

I decided to do a post about products that I have been loving and using a lot recently. I don't do monthly ones because once I find something good I tend to stick to it and use it for a long time so monthly favourites would always be the same and that'd be boring. So I've been using these products for ages!

Also I just ate potato alphabets and I haven't had them in ages, they remind me of my childhood, lol. Anyone else eat them? Lol.

This is a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG POST :D YAY! LOL!

Moving on.... Here are the products :)
Lets start with non make-up items.
-Firstly I have been loving Tea Tree foaming face wash, which you can purchase from Superdrug. This is my second bottle of the stuff and I love it! I have done a review on it which you can read here.

-Next up is the Tea Tree cleanser and toner which I have also done a review on which can be read here. This is my thrid bottle and will be buying it again! I love this product and use it everyday.

-The next product is the palmers cocoa butter formula body cream, it smells absolutely amazing! I love the consistancy of the product and it really moisturises well, i've been through so many of these.

So lets get on to the makeup :D I put them in a categories lol, starting with face products.-The foundation i've been reaching for the most lately has been the Natural Collection Shinaway foundation and i'm in the shade honey which is a really good match. I have been really drawn to this foundation lately as it feels really light on the skin and not cakey or heavy. They claim it's a medium coverage foundation but I personally think it's more of a sheer coverage unless you build it up a bit. I like the consistancy and find it super easy to blend.

-The next product is the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer and i'm in shade 4 Deep. Omg, this concealer is amazing! You seriously need like the smallest amount to cover up under eye circles, a little bit of this REALLY does go a long way! I feel like this is a full coverage concealer, the smallest amount covers so well. The formulation of the concealer is great, not too thick or too thin and it blends really well. Best of all it lasts all day!

-I've dug out this blusher from my collection and it's by Sleek in the colour Flamingo 937 which is a matte hot pink shade. I never wore this when I bought it, I always just thought it was nice to look at, lol. But for the last month or so i've been loving it, I need to be really careful with it and apply it with a light hand otherwise I will end up looking like a clown! The sleek blushes are super duper pigmented but when I use it I only pick up the tiniest amount on my brush and it gives a really nice colour to the cheek.

Moving on to the eyes
-Bare Study paint pot by mac is something I have been using a lot. I kind of used to hate it, i'm not sure why, lol. But i've had it for nearly a year now and haven't used it as much as I thought I would. However, this little pot has slowly been creeping into my routine a lot. I use it as a base on my lid when I want some shimmer but mostly i've been using it as a highlight on the brow bone and especially on my cheeckbones just adding a tiny bit there really gives a nice 'glow' [I like saying that, lol]

-The eyeshadows i've been using the most are from the same palette which is the Estee Lauder Signature eyeshadow quad in Amber Honey. I only have a sample palette but I am falling in love with the colours and the texture of the shadows. The colours are all neutral as you can see from the picture and they are really well pigmented. It's quick and easy to create a look as the colours are all in one place so I don't have to look for more colours else where which is probably why i've been using it a lot. I would deffo consider buying the full size of this.

-I love the Bobby Brown Gel eyeliner in Black Ink! Omg this baby is beyond words, lol. It's creamy, easy to apply, lasts all day and is a true black colour! I seriously recommend this product, lol. I don't want to say anymore about this product as I don't think I would do it justice, lol. Got some serious love going on for this product though :D

-I've been using two pencil eyeliners the most recently, the first is my Avon kajalstick in black and at the time there was a deal on them, 3 for £5 and this is my last one, which i'm sad about as they were the first ever piece of make up I bought, lol. They glide on easily and it's really black! I'm not sure if avon do them anymore :/

-The next eyeliner is the Rimmel Waterproof Exaggerate eye definer in Noir, it's the retractable one. It lasts a long time on the eye but I wouldn't say it's totally waterproof, it does wear off but lasts longer then my avon one. Again it glides on easily and is really black!

Lip products are next
-So first up in the lip product category is a Clinique lipgloss and it's one of the full potential lips plump and shine ones in 06 Mimosa Blossom. I'm not sure about the plumping but this is such a wonderful lipgloss, it's a sort of pinky peachy colour with slight shimmers in it. It's not overly sticky but lasts a long time on the lips, I ate with it on and I still had some lipgloss left on after which never happens with any other gloss.

-Next is a lip balm and this was given to me by my aunt, she lives in New Zealand and came to visit recently and gave me this so you can't get it here, i'm assuming, lol. It's by a brand called Pacifica Organics and it says it has shea butter in it, it smells like peppermint. The balm is really good and moisturising. The thing I like the most is that it looks like a clear lipgloss and not like a lipbalm but it's not sticky at all, it's great!

-Another lip product I have been crazy about is the Barry M touch of magic lip paint. It's quite jokes :D It reacts with the alkaline level in your lips, so depending on how high or low it is changes colour. It's also a sort of stain so it will not come off for ages which I find a good thing because I find it annoying re-applying lippie. So if I apply it like a normal lipstick it goes bright hot pink which is great for a night out, but for everyday use I just dot it on my lips and rub it in so it doesn't actually look like i've got anything on but it gives my lips some more colour.

Brushes that have stood out to me
-I have been using the QVS foundation brush the most recently, a lot of people don't seem to like these kind of foundation brushes but it doesn't really bother me. For me it doesn't leave any streaks and it's just really easy to use and blend the product with. I've been using it with the Natural Collection foundation and they work really well together.

-The Elf complexion brush is wonderful! So so so so so soft! I use this with powder and it's great. I also use it with the sleek flamingo blusher and it picks up the right amount of product and I find the two work well together.

-The last tiny little brush is the Bobby Brown Ultra fine eyeliner brush and this came with the gel eyeliner mentioned above and also another one which is a brown colour. Anyways, I really like the brush and find it easy to use especially near the inner corner of the eye as it is so small. It's also really easy to create a fine line with it.

Last but not least nail polish

-I have only really been liking one nail polish as of late and it is the Rimmel Lycra Pro in 317 Coral Romance, I have done a NOTD with this polish so you can see what the colour looks like. I love the brush on this, it's wide so makes application easier and quicker. The formulation is great and the colour itself its bright and summery and I keep putting this colour on my toes, it's great!

REVIEW- Superdrug Tea Tree & Peppermint Foaming Face Wash

You can purchase this product from Superdrug for around £2.99 and they always seem to have offers on the range. I've been using this product for nearly a year now and this is my second bottle of it, I use it everyday so the product really does last a long time. I only use it in the mornings and use about a pump and a half for my whole face. The product needs to be applied to a wet face, so I rinse it and then massage the product in really well and rinse it off with lukewarm water. It comes out in a foamy consistancy.I really love this product, it leaves my face feeling so refreshed and seriously clean, lol.It's easy to use, lasts a long time, and is super cheap and once this bottle is done I will be picking up another one. I also really like the smell of it because it's just so fresh and clean smelling, lol. Just don't get the product in your eye as it will hurt! I really recommend you guys try out this product, I love it!!

Products I regret buying!

I thought I would share with you guys products I regret buying. So this post will have lots of pictures :D

So lets start of with the Schwarzkopf Gliss hair repair tonic for coloured hair, super long name! It's meant to prevent colour loss and lock in the dye for longer for upto 30 washes, and tbh it didn't do anything! I used it with the Schwarzkopf Gliss colour protect shampoo and conditioner too. I think this was £1.99 so it wasn't expensive but it was a pointless purchase for me and I will not be buying it again.
Next up is the rimmel colour mousse 8hr shadow in 014 mermaid. I think it's a lovely colour but I don't really use it as much as I thought I would. I've just kind of gone off it. I don't even know why i'm not that keen on it, lol, so it's a hard one to explain. I only use this as a base for my eyes and it can kinda make them look wrinkley!! What is that about? And then when I apply less the colour isn't as intense so it's kinda pointless.
The next one is this Cosmopolitan powder brush, I got it from Superdrug for £6ish I think. Firstly this brush is scratchy, it's not soft at all! It hurts my face! Secondly, it sheds a lot! I only use it when my other brushes are dirty or when they're drying from being cleaned. But seriously when I use this brush i'll end up with brush hairs on my face and it's so annoying. Also I don't really like the colour of the bristles, lol. Now I know that's a stupid thing to point out but seriously they look ugly! Lol.
Another regret is the Simple Kind to eyes soothing eye balm. I have already done a review on this product which you can read here which will obviously be negative because I regret buying it, lol. It's meant to reduce puffiness and tired looking eyes but seriously it does crap all!!
Next up is the No7 Blush tint cream blush in 15 Blossom. I think it's a lovely colour but when I apply it to my cheeks it doesn't show up too well so I really have to pack on the blush and it makes it a hard product to work with. The retail price is £9.75 but I had a £5 off voucher, if I did pay the full price I would regret it even more!
I also regret buying Mac shadestick in Beige-ing. I've had this for a while and seriously I hardly use it. Again the colour is lovely but the product is hard to work with. This was one of the first things I bought from mac and I saw it all over youtube so was like it's got to be good if everyone has it, so I got it and have used it about 5 times! I use it as a base and it's not creamy at all, so I have to warm the product up with my finger and apply it and i'm lazy so i'm not a fan of doing it that way. Also it dries really quickly on the lid which for me is annoying as I want to be able to distribute the colour evenly and when it dries it just makes working with the product harder. But i'm trying to use this product more and hopefully I will like it some more, lol.
Lastly, the biggest regret of them all is Benefit's realness of concealness kit, I have already done a review on this product which you can read here. I didn't pay for this product, my bf bought it for me but I did choose the product. Seriously, I am not impressed, lol. Firstly £23.50 on the tiny little thing is not worth it, and the amount of product you get is tiny and they don't work! Well not for me anyway. If you want to know more about my thoughts on the product then read the review :)

So they are the product I regret buying! I still use them but only because I don't want it be like a waste of money, lol.

Also, I'm not trying to slate any of the products or the brands, it's just the products don't work for me but that does not mean they won't work for you :)

..Just to depot UDPP. WHY OH WHY IS THE PACKAGING SO STUPID -.-Look at eit! That was hard work, lol. I got one of those free jar things from The Body Shop and put the remaining product in there, it really is surprising to see how much product you think is left when you think you've 'finished'You can clearly see that there's still so much product left and the container holds 5ml of product and it's nearly full, so i'm glad I cut up that stupid bottle and got the rest of the primer :D Seriously though this packaging really anoys me! Lol. So when you think you're finished, cut open that bad boy and see how much is still left in there.

Ahh that's my rant over, lol.
Has anyone else been through the horrible ordeal of having to depot primer potion?

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while! I've been busy and the sun makes me so tired. I hate it, lol.

Also i've had it on for a week and no chipping! Although I used the NYC topcoat in Grand Central Station.
I used two coats and the application was smooth :)

REVIEW- Superdrug Tea Tree & Peppermint Cleanser and Toner

I have been using this product for about 2 years (it used to be a gel formulation back then but they changed it)
This product retails for £2.99 at Superdrugs and they sometimes have a few offers on their range.
This product works so well to get all those impurities off your face! I use it in the evenings and apply some to a cotton pad and then clean my face. I wouldn't recommend this product for the removal of make up (use wipes or something for that) but it's great to use once you have cleaned all your make-up off. It really shows just how much gunk is on your face, even when you think it's really clean, lol. It leaves your face feeling really fresh and clean. The product also smells really nice, it has a really fresh smell to it which I like. Just don't get this product in your eyes because it hurts, lol.
I absolutely love this product and it hasn't caused me to breakout, if anything it gets rid of the spots I do get and just leaves my face feeling so nice!
I really recommend trying out this product as it really makes a difference to my skin and leaves it feeling super duper clean :)

REVIEW- Victoria Jackson Mystic Eyes Palette

The palette comes with 6 eyeshadows, 2 cream eyeliners and a brush and also has a mirror which is always handy.
I like the packaging of the product as it's small and sleek and can easily fit in your makeup bag.

The eyeshadows are all pretty well pigmented and they feel really smooth. I tested out the shadows without primer and they lasted for around 3 hours before they started to crease/fade away so I would recommend using a primer with them to increase the wear. The colours are really wearable, as there are 4 neutrals,a highlight/lid colour, a peachy shade, a sort of coppery shade and a darker brown shade for the crease and 2 other colours which you can use to darken up or change a look, which consist of a dark plummy purple colour and a lovely dark green shimmery colour. You do get fall out with the shadows aswell which is annoying but it's not too much. I really like the eyeshadows in this palette as you can create lots of different looks and I find they blend really well together. A neutral look I created using the palette with the dark green eyeshadow on my lower lashline. I also smudged the brown cream eyeliner on the upper lashline. I didn't put any mascara on because I didn't want it to distract from the shadows.

You get two cream eyeliners in the palette one brown and one black. When swatching them on your hand they seem dark and well pigmented however when I used the black to create a winged eyeliner look it was really hard to get it to an intense black colour which I like, instead it was a light black and in some parts you could still see my skin underneath which I had to keep going over to get really black. Something I didn't enjoy doing as I like applying eyeliner quickly and getting an intense black line.The picture isn't that great, sorry, but it took me a while just to get the liner this black, so that annoyed me, lol.

I found that the best way to use the cream eyeliners was to smudge them on the upper lashline to create a sort of smokey look as it's easier to work with that way and looks better. They're really creamy and blend well, so the black would work well if you wanted to create a sort of smudged smokey eyeliner.

The palette comes with a brush which tbh I don't really find that useful and I just used my own brushes.

Overall, I really like this palette. I like the fact it comes with two cream eyeliners so you could create a whole look with all your colours in one palette, so you don't have to keep looking for the colours to use. It'd also be great for a night out as if you wanted to touch up you could take the palette along in your makeup bag becasue it's small and compact.
I think it'd be hard to get hold of this palette which is a downfall in my opinion as you can only buy it from the Victoria Jackson sales people on the streets. But if you do manage to find this palette I do think you should try it out. I'm not entirely sure on the price of this product but I do know it's between £5-£10, i'm going to guess it's around the £9/£10 mark and I would buy this myself/repurchase it :)

On my nails today I am wearing a nail polish by 17 and it's one of the lasting fix ones in orange soda :)I found the application a bit streaky as the consistancy is a bit thin. I have 3 coats on my nails. I love this colour! Super bright and perfect for summer!

NOTD and earrings I made :)

On my nails today I have Barry M's nail paint in 308 Berry Ice Cream. I liked the application, it wasn't streaky or too thick and I applied two coats, it's lovely! I used N.Y.C quick dry topcoat in 202B Grand Central Station :D Have you guys tried this nail paint? What dya think of it?

I also wanted to show you guys some earrings I made a while ago, I really like them, lol.I used Chinese enamelled beads, more specifically the diamond cushion, enamelled metal beads (I checked the website for the name of the beads, lol)I love making jewellery, it's so much fun, makes a great gift and you know no one will have the same peice of jewellery as you which makes it more special.
It's exciting when you actually go to the different bead shops and look at their selection, it's so much fun, lol.
The one I like the most and where I get most of my stuff from is called The Bead Shop and if you're interested in making jewellery or just like looking at pretty things then take a look at the site :D the shop is on Tower Street in London. I love it.

This has just turned into rambling, lol, so I will stop writing :D

Yet again, I had the urge to spend some money, so I did. I NEED TO SAVE! :(
Anyways, here's what I got Collection 2000 lasting perfection 16 hour wear concealer in 4 Deep and a Collection 2000 shine away powder in 2 Medium.I then made my first purchase of MUA products as my local Superdrugs do not sell them, which I think is stupid especially as there are two in my town. But I was in another town today, lol and I was super excited to see the MUA stand as i've heard so many good things about their products.I got two eyeshadows, the one on the left is number 13 and the one on the right is 14.Swatches! They are so pigmented and this was only one swipe! For £1 I'm deffo picking up some more! I really wanted to get number 12 which was like a greeny brown but they only had the tester :( but i'll get my mits on it soon :DAlso picked up this nail polish by MUA in shade 13, hope it looks nice on the nails, lol.

I also went to TJ HUGHES and I did this because I was reading Reviews,Hauls&More's blog and she had purchased a Stila smudge pot from there for only £2!!! I really wanted some but they didn't have any smudgepots so I got sad :( but I did manage to pick up a Stila eyeshadow trio for only £3.99!I got it in the shade champagne glowSwatches! They are really pigmented and i'm super happy with this! will deffo be going back to see if they have any smudgepots =D

I also got a lipliner from TJ HUGHES. It's the Loreal infaillible lip liner in 711 Invincible Red.It's a weird shape but I like it, lol and I haven't seen this in drugstores in the loreal section, or maybe I just don't pay attention. But I only paid £1.99 for this, such a bargain and it glides on easily and feels smooth :)Sorry about the crappy image of the swatch my camera decided to be shit -.-

Also I got some sandals from PrimarkThey were £4 and are super cute :)

So that's the stuffies that I got!

I know I want to buy some more shadows from the MUA range but besides shadows what other products have you guys tried from the MUA range that you would recommend?

If you guys have a TJ HUGHES near you I seriously recommend checking it out as they have some good drugstore and high end products in there for cheap =D

Omg! I haven't posted in so long! And that has not been out of choice lol. I only finished my exams on the 30th June and it was the last day of exams, just my luck to have an exam right at the bloody end! -.-

And yesterday we had our prom at Astons Champagne and Wine Bar and it was lots of fun, YAY! =D
I will deffo be blogging a lot more now that i'm free!

I so want exams to be over they stop me from having a life and blogging, lol.

Anyways... I painted my nails, well only three of them because I got distracted and I just really want to show you guys the colour, so I just quickly took a picture, lol.It's Rimmel Lycra PRO in 317 Coral Romance. It's the nail polish I recieved in a swap I did on BeautyJudge and you can see that post below :D
The application was really easy as it has a 'new maxi brush' so it's wider and lets you apply the product quicker. I also like the formualation, it's just right :)
Hope it lasts a while :D

Have you tried any of the Lycra PRO nail polishes and what dya think of them? Lemme know :D

Over at the wonderful BeautyJudge I did a little swap with a lovely lady called Helen :) The rules of the swap were the products would either be brand new or ones that had could easily be sanitised with 75% of the product left. I got so excited when the postman came this morning and rushed out of bed :D
I've never done a swap before so I was all excited and thang.Everything came in this cute pink Barry M makeup bag. We agreed to send eachother 7 items but she sent me 8 which is so lovely, 9 items if you include the makeup bag :)I am so happy with everything that I got!-I was sent:

-A Rimmel Lasting Finish 16 hour foundation in 400 natural beige which is a PERFECT match! I don't know how! Lol. I have it on now and it smells really nice lol, doesn't have the disgusting foundation smell.

-Avon glazewear in silver glitz- a clear lipgloss with some sparkles which I also have on, really smooth, not gloopy and I like the smell of this too, which is coconuts! =D

-Miss sporty liquid eye shadow in 600 Eye Jewel.

-Rimmel Volume flash mascara in 001 Black. I have this on aswell and my lashes look super black, lol.

-Trendy girl accessories- crystal tattoo in the shape of a butterfly. I might use these on my nails :P

-Rimmel lycra pro nail polish in 317 Coral Romance, it looks so lovely! Can't wait to try it!

-Barry M nail paint in 290 Spring Green, love the colour!

-Maxfactor miracle touch creamy blush in 14 Soft pink. I'm so excited about this! I'm loving cream blushes atm and i've swatched this and it looks AMAZING and it's matte, which is good!

I absolutely love all the products I was sent and can't wait to try them out properly! I really hope she likes the products I send her! I sent the package off yesterday!

Went into school with a friend, got some revision done for our product design exam and saved A LOT of money!! So all in all it has been a very productive day!! =DI couldn't decide which benefit product to get, so I got all three, for the bargain price of only £6! If I got these at full price it would have cost me £45 :O :OThe packaging is cute :)I then got RED magazine which came with a free Jemma Kidd lipgloss, there's a choice of three to choose from, a red one, a pink one and a sort of coral looking one but in real life the coral one doesn't even look coral it just looks that way in the picture, i'm rambling,lol Anyways I got the red looking one which is 08 Fuchsia. Red magazine is £3.60 and the lipgloss retails at £14.50.
I then picked up More mag for only £1.50 and it had a voucher inside for a free Barry M dazzle dust so I picked up number 14, which I believe is called Khaki :)Swatches :DTop Jemma Kidd lipgloss, bottom Barry M dazzle dust in Khaki!

Also Marie Claire has a free Cowshed showergel which is normally £8.

Anyone else enjoying the latest magazine freebies? I'm loving it, lol.

REVIEW- Vitamin E Cleanser and Eye Make Up Remover

I was in need of a quick solution as I had run out of eye make up remover and I was in Superdrug and I picked this up for £1.98 I didn't have very high hopes for this product and thought it would have been a waste. How wrong was I?This product works wonderfully at removing eye makeup. It's of a white cream consistency and I put a blob of this on to a cotton pad and then place it on my eye and remove the make up. It takes it away in a couple of swipes and I use a new cotton pad for each eye. It leaves the eye area feeling smooth and soft and not greasy like I thought it would. I don't really wear waterproof mascara so I'm not sure what it would be like removing that but it defo removes everything else leaving the skin feeling amazing. And it doesn't smell funky which is good =DIt's a thin consistancy so not a big gloopy mess! [Don't mind the eyeliner swatch :P]I don't use this product as a cleanser as I use something else but I love it as an eye make up remover and I am so glad I picked this up and it's such a bargain!!

I will deffo be picking this up again when it's done :)

I was really bored last night so I played with some make up, this is what happened :)

Oh my oh my, what have we here?

I felt the urge to spend today and I had some money left on a Debenhams gift card which I got for my birthday :)
So I browsed Debenhams and stopped off at Clinique and the woman was so nice and gave me a little make over, I new I wanted to buy a foundation and you know the whole routine they go through, talking about your skin type etc, lol. I ended up purchasing the Superbalanced makeup foundation. I got the shade 09 Sand, which is a good match for me :D
I like the packaging of it, looks cute, lol.
This product was £20, the bottle seems a little small but my sister has this foundation and she's had it for a while and she still has quite a lot left, so it should hold up well :D

My sister is really into Clinque, she has a fair bit from them and I think she got a freebie lipstick which she gave to me :)

It's in the shade Berry Freeze as is a lovely deep reddish kinda colour, it also has a very subtle shimmer running through it, hardly noticable on the lips but in the swatch it looks really obvious, it really isn't like that the picture is just bad, lol. I like this lippie =D

Can't wait to try out the foundation and lipstick.

Look at the polka dot nails!
They make me smile =D

I only did three nails, lol.
I used Barry M nail paints in Turquoise no.295 and Matt White no.66

I also went into Lush the other day and got me some Love Lettuce. I needed a new exfoliator and i've already tried Brazened Honey from Lush so wanted to try something new so I got this. I've used this once already and it smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling smooth :)

To end this post I want to show you my beloved egg cup
It's a crocodile or aligator, i'm not sure which one but I love this egg cup :)

I made some pasta :)

Look at how cute this pasta looked

After I took this picture, I just got carried away with taking pictures of my dinner, lol.
So here it is with some sauce :D

Haha, then I added some cheese and put in under the grill to make it all crispy, it tastes so good when you do that, lol.

Then I added some tuna on the top, seems weird but tastes good.

It looks really weird but was yummy :)

I also went to Oxford Street today with a friend and we popped into Topshop, I was expecting to get a few things from the makeup range but I ended up buying one product. Nothing really stood out to me and screamed 'BUY ME!' I new I wanted to try a cream blusher so I bought the one in Nutmeg.

It came in this cute little box.

Has little polka dots on it, it's quite sturdy aswell.

It's a cream to powder formulation and feels really nice and smooth. Looking forward to using this, and it was only £6 :D

Do any of you guys have any Topshop makeup? What do you think of it?

REVIEW- Eco tools 6 piece brush set

I was passing through tesco's one time and got super excited when I saw these and picked them up straight away. I purchased these about 3 months ago and the quality of these brushes are amazing.

The fact that they're 'earth friendly' really pleases me. And it comes with a cute brush roll so they are easy to travel with.

The blusher brush is the softest thing EVER! and it's the brush I always reach for when applying blusher, it's the perfect size and everything.

The concealer brush is a good size but a bit stiff so i'm really gentle when I use it around the eye area, although I don't really use this brush a lot for concealer as I use my finger.

The eyeshadow brush is good for packing on a lot of colour and good for cream products or if you want to use a shadow wet.

The angled brush is amazing for gel eyeliner and it works so well and makes the application so easy.

I only use the lash and brow brush just to run the brush through my brows after i've filled them in, it's just like any other lash and brow comb so I don't really see anything special about this brush.

All the brushes fit nicely into the brush roll so it's super easy to take them with you when you're travelling.

I've washed these brushes many times and there has been NO shedding which is awesome!
I would definately recommend this brush set and it's well worth it for around £13 as the quality of them is amazing!

I also saw this set in my local boots and they had individual Eco tools brushes aswell, so you could also check there :)

Products i've finished :)

So I saw this on someone's blog ages ago and i'm not sure who it was :S
But here are some products i've finished.

Tea tree foaming face wash- so refreshing and makes your face feel so clean. Already purchased another one if you saw my previous post which was a haul :)

Batiste dry shampoo [Blush]- This stuff is so good! Sprits this in your hair when your in a rush and you're good to go! Been through numerous ones of these, want to try the coloured one!

Beautifully Delicious Scrublicious Body Scrub- I was sent this product from Beautyjudge and I genuinly love this product! It smells so yummy and has tiny exfoliating beads in it. I have the tiniest amount left in this and it doesn't come out :( but I won't give up until every last bit has gone! I think you can get this range from Boots or Tescos, so I will have to hunt them down to get my hands on another one.

Impulse- Good for school, when you don't want to waste your expensive perfume smelling too good but you don't want to be stinky either =D

Collection 2000 liquid eyeliner- I love this! It's easy to apply, it's super black and cheap! I can't even remember how many of these i've been through.

It feels so good to finish products because it makes it worth the money, lol, but I am yet to finish an eyeshadow.

It seems that all I do is spend money

HEYYY :) I feel like I have been away for ages, lol. Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, been super busy with school etc.
On to something interesting, I have a few thangs I wana show you guys, not that exciting tbh but oh well, lol.

Boots are really stepping up their game, well the one near me is, lol. They have a whole new layout and 3 new brands, they are Models Own [which i'm sure everyone knows about] UNE [which is a completely new brand to me] and Myface cosmetics [which I think i've seen around before, lol]
I was so excited when I saw boots, lol, it looked so much better.

Here's what I picked up, it wasn't much. I'm trying to save money but it's not going well, although I restrained myself from buying a lot of things from the new brands.

I picked up a No7 Stay perfect eye mousse, they're originally £8.75 but I had the £5 off voucher :) I got the shade plum.

I then got seduced by the Models Own retractable brush, it was only £5 and it's soft and looks sexy ;)

That's all I got from boots, I really wanted to buy some stuff from Myface cosmetics and UNE but I was being good. I'm sure i'll magically end up in boots again buying something from there, lol.

I then toddled to Superdrugs and nothing attracted me :( they had a 3 for 2 on all skincare and I needed to get a new facewash as mine had finished [I will be doing a post after this about products i've used up or have nearly finished which will include the facewash, which is why i'm mentioning it, this seems so irrelevant, lol.]

Anyways, I got the Tee Tree foaming face wash and moisturiser, I like these products! They were both £2.99

I also got the cotton wool pads free, I didn't take a picture of them because everyone knows what they look like, lol and they're in the first picture.

Also they're is a Sallys near my school and last week I picked up some eyeliners from there. They're from a brand called Beautique, anyone heard of them? They were on sale so they only cost me 49p!!! And they have great pay off! I got them Navy and Blue Azure.

Top 3 brushes!

I'm bored and should be doing something constructive like revising. Instead I shall share with you my top 3 brushes, which I love and use all the time :D
These are in no particualar order, I love them equally :) Lol.

No.1 Ecotools blusher brush.

I mentioned this brush in another post a while ago about things I was loving etc and I still love this brush! It's SUPER DUPER SOFT! And it's dense aswell so picks up a lot of colour, it's the brush I always reach for when applying blusher! I got this from Tesco in a set for around £13.00

No.2 Mac 217

I also mentioned this brush in the other post and while it's an expensive brush, I do think it's a worthwile investment! It makes blending shadows so much easier! I also find it good for applying shadow all over the lid when i'm being lazy and can't be bothered to use a flat brush, lol.

No.3 Elf Powder brush

I use this brush to apply foundation and it does it so well! It's really dense so applies the foundation easily and effortlessly. And best of all it's only £3.50 :)

A tiny collective haul

So I picked up a few things last week and here they are

As you can see it's not much but I thought I would share it with you guys, lol :)

I got these eyelashes from poundland because they looked nice and were a pound, lol. But I don't think i'll be using the glue that comes with them, I don't trust it :P

On the left is a No7 blush tint, basically a cream blusher, in no 15 Blossom. On the right is a lasting fix lisptick from 17 in Pink Power. I got the No7 product because I had the £5.00 off voucher and orginally it's £9.75 which in my opinion is not worth it. Lipstick was about £3.00

Swatches: the one on the left is the blush tint from No7 and the right is the lipstick from 17 which is super bright pink and so pigmented!! Love it!!

Also got some Girls Aloud lashes, got the Sarah ones, they just appealed the most to me at the time!

And look what I had to go through to find the right shade of pink lippie! But I was determined to find the brightest pink I could and I did, but doesn't my hand look so colourful :D

Also I picked up two Barry M nail paints in Berry I/C number 308 and Pale Yellow in 307. But i'm sure you guys have seen enough pictures of them, lol.

Today i'm wearing a 17 lasting fix nail polish in Mint Choc Chip. It's a lovely mint green colour.

With flash.
It's quite a thin consistency and needs two to three coats to get the colour in the bottle

I really like this colour, has a nice summery feel :)

REVIEW- Neutrogena Wave

You can purchase this product from Boots and Superdrug for around £10 but it varies depending on where you get it from. I purchased mine from Wilkinsons for around £6 so I would definitely recommend getting it from there if you have one near you. You can also buy the refill packs from Wilkinsons for round £2.50 instead of boots or Superdrug as they charge around £4.00. [Also I have seen in Boots they have shine and blemish control pads but I have not tried these yet.]

You get 14 cleansing pads and 1 AA battery in the pack.

Firstly, the product is ergonomically designed to fit the shape of your hand to make it easier to hold and work with so that’s a plus.

The disposable cleansing pads fit on to the detachment head and you wet it with water and gently start massaging it onto your skin. The cleansing pads are meant to foam up when in use but tbh they don’t foam up as much as you think they would which is annoying, so I add more water which helps a bit. However, I have found while using this that some cleansing pads foam up more then others, so I think it depends on how much product they put on the pad because you can see a slight circle in the middle where the cleanser is. But the adverts are misleading as the amount of foam they show just does not happen!

I move the product around in circular motions and it feels really relaxing and I feel like it’s really cleaning my skin. I then rinse it off with lukewarm water, it leaves my skin feeling super smooth and soft. I love the feeling of my skin after using this and it leaves it feeling so refreshed and just clean! The cleansing pads also smell really nice and fresh, I’m rubbish at describing smells but it’s a good smell as you don’t want smelly skin, lol.

I have combination oily skin and for me, this product has really helped to reduce the shine on my face. Not removing it completely but it just helps to control it. Thankfully I don’t have acne prone skin or have many blemishes so I can’t really comment on how the product would work for others who may have skin like that.
It’s gentle enough for everyday use, so I have been using it everyday for about 3 weeks and I have noticed a difference in my skin as it’s a lot smoother and looks healthier.

Obviously, it’s not anything like the expensive cleansers out there like the Clarisonic so don’t expect amazing results or anything special but for me this product has worked and I will continue to use it.

Overall, I like this product and would recommend it, but I wouldn’t have bought it for £10 I only picked it up by chance in Wilkinsons because it was cheaper, lol.

I've been so busy with work and exams coming up etc, I won't bore you with the boring details but atm i'm so stressed, lol. ALSO I was going to upload some pics of things I bought and I took the pics on my phone and it's just being one crazy fucker and not letting me upload them and my digital camera is being a noob too :(

Feast your eyes on this!

So I picked up a few things yesterday and was to lazy to post about it so it's here for you today :)
An overview of what I got

Three 17 nail polish's. Left to right: Orange Soda, Mint Choc Chip, Smoke Signal

Also atm when you spend £6 or more on 17 products you get a free gift set which looks like this

They come in a cute little tin that says Nautical but Nice and they're wrapped up in blue tissue paper, you get an eyeshadow in Viva Diva, a mini eyeliner in Azure and a Fast finish nail polish in Knouckout Red. (Don't you just love the cute little arrangement I made of the products :P)

I picked up the No7 shine free primer as I got a £5 off voucher when I purchased the 17 products so I thought why not? Lol.

And then I got another voucher because I bought the primer so I purchased another No7 product, which is the metallic eyes pencil in 02 Turquoise.

I tried the tester in the shop and it was quite creamy, plus I wanted to spend the £5 voucher, lol.

Yet again another hair dye, my hair is going to fall out! But it said especially for dark hair so I picked it up, lol. And I like Schwarzkopf products :)

So I picked up the Sally Hansen nail growth miracle and I hope it works because I want long nails :D

Lastly, I got this brush from superdrugs and it's from the brand QVS and it's a new brush they have come out with, kinda like the mac 187. They call it 'the airbrush' and it claims to give a 'flawless, airbrushed finish.' I'm going to try this with my liquid foundation and see if it's any good :)

5 random facts...

So I was going to do a post about stuff I bought today but i'm too lazy to take the pics today so I will do it tomorrow, lol :)
Instead i'm going to do the 5 random facts tag iv'e seen going around, I haven't been tagged but oh well, lol.

1. I cracked my head open when I was around 4/5 and I remember screaming and crying so much! That's the worst injury i've ever had. As a result I have a dent in my head, lol, which sounds weird but there's a certain point where it goes flat but you can't see it, you can only feel it.

2. I am double jointed. I can put my legs behind my head, I can lick my elbow, I can turn my arm the whole way round and my thumbs can do unusually weird things, lol. It freaks people out a lot.

3. I have a big tongue! Which also helps me to lick my elbow and I can touch the tip of my chin with my tongue, it's really long, lol.

4. I can consume large amounts of food and put no weight on. I'm basically a stick, I eat so much and I don't put any weight on, even my friends say I eat like a pig. I got excited the other day about putting on half a stone increasing my weight to 7 stones! =D Yay! I get excited about putting on weight because it takes me so long to gain some, lol.

5. I HATE FEET! I think they're horrible, the word feet is disgusting and I hate thinking or looking at them, basically feet are gross!!

Today I decided to go with a colour from Barry M.

It's number 304 mint green. Now I do have to say that I hate the consistency of this product, it's so watery and thin and takes about 3/4 coats to get the colour you see in the bottle. But I love the end result, it's a lovely pale, pastel green colour :)

Do any of you guys have this colour and have the same problem with the consistency? Or is it just mine? Lol.

REVIEW- NYX- Jumbo eyeshadow pencils

I have two jumbo eyeshadows pencils in:
601 Black Bean
605 Strawberry milk

Black bean is an intense black colour and strawberry milk is a baby pink with a sheen to it. I purchased them from a little shop I found which unfortunately is not near me and they were £3.99 each.

They are extremely creamy and glide on so effortlessly! They are also super pigmented. I normally use them as bases and then put eyeshadow on top, however through out the day they do tend to crease so I normally put primer potion underneath but sometimes they can still crease. They really transform eyeshadows when used as bases so you can create lots of different looks. There's also a wide range of colours to choose from.
I deffo want to get some more of these jumbo pencils as they are so pigmented and I love them :D

Below are some swatches of the colours.

The top one is Strawberry milk and the bottom is Black bean, as you can see they are really pigmented.

This is a nail polish from Tesco designed by Barbara Daly and you can only get her products from Tesco's. It's in the colour Cardinal. It's a lovely pinky/purple colour whith a lovely sheen to it. I'm rubbish at describing colours. Lol. But it looks so beautiful. I love it.

I applied two coats and I love the consistancy of this polish, it's streak free and it's not at all gloopy.
I also applied N.Y.C's top coat in Grand Central Station.

REVIEW- Simple kind to eyes soothing eye balm

I bought this in hope that it would reduce the puffiness under my eyes, unfortunately it hasn't. I have been using the product for a few weeks every evening and morning. I squeeze out some product onto my ring finger and then dab it under my eyes where it's puffy.I also like the packaging of the product as it's a squezzy tube so the product comes out easily but you can easily control it so it doesn't go every where. It's also fragrance free which I like. It's a nice thin consistancy and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy or anything, I pat the product instead of rubbing it in because that way it settles into the skin. After its been applied it leaves the skin around the eye area feeling sort of tight, but not too much, I like this feeling though so it doesn't really bother me, lol. But apart from feeling taught it doesn't really appear to do anything for my eye area, it doesn't reduce puffiness of refresh my eyes which it claims to do.
I like the fact it has good ingredients so that must be doing something good for my skin, lol :P
I will continue to use this product until it's finished but I will not be repurchasing it.

Ramble.

So the sun is out and i'm indoors trying to ignore the fact that I have to go back to school tomorrow and that I have a huge amount of work to do which as usual I have left to the last minute! I shall suffer the consequences of deciding to do fuck all tomorrow when the teachers set about collecting in work and I submit nothing, but oh well.

I hope I finish my project for product design, i'm making a bird house, you can make anything you want in year 13, well in my school you can. I hope I can use the time left I have wisely because product design is the one subject I actually enjoy and seeing as I have a place at UCA for a foundation course in art and design I really want to do well. I'm super excited about having an offer from UCA though, the course seems really fun and creative unlike sitting there reading and writing etc, obviously I will have to do some of that but too much, I hope. LOL. It's a 1 year course and it'll be free because i'll be 18 when I start it, so i'll just have to pay for accomadation and stuff :)

So i'm not sure what I will do after the 1 year, I may not even want to do a degree. But i'm really interested in doing a make up course especially the one that pixiwoo (from youtube) do. It's a 5 day course and costs £995 and it's in London, so I might do that after.

Wow, I ramble a lot. I doubt this'll be of any interest to anyone though, haha, although now you know a little more about me, lol.

REVIEW- Benefit's realness of concealness kit

My boyfriend bought me this as a present and I was really excited to try out the products but unfortunately they were a let down :(
The realness of concealness kit is £23.50 and to be perfectly honest it really is not worth that much as the products don't do what they say they're going to do. Firstly it is very small and then you open it up too find the size of the products are miniscule! It comes with lemon aid, boi-ing concealer in shade 2, highbeam, ooh la lift and lip plump.

LEMON AID- benefit claims that this product hides discolouration and redness on the lids leaving them looking refreshed. In my opinion it does nothing of the sort, the product is so hard to work with and it's not creamy and it doesn't glide on to the eye. When you try to warm up the product with your finger you just get a yellow layer on your finger and it's hard to apply to the eyelid as it goes on streaky and you just get a yellow stain on your eyes. I'm really not a fan of this product and would definately not purchase the full size of this.

BOI-ING CONCEALER(shade 2)- Shade 2 is a bit light for my skin and this goes to show that this kit wouldn't be great for darker skin tones or lighter ones. You have to warm up the product a bit to get the creamy texture and I normally apply it with my finger. It is ok at covering up under eye circles but it's not as great as they claim.

HIGHBEAM- I actually do like this product, it's a really nice pinky highlighter, it's just a shame the bottle is TINY!

OOH LA LIFT- It does not give your eyes a boost! I dotted a few circles under my eyes and blended it in and it really does not do what is says, so I applied more and still nothing :(

LIP PLUMP- My first question would be WHAT PLUMP?? This does not do any plumping for your lips! And benefit claims it gives you fuller sexy lips, it really does not!

OVERALL- Please don't be fooled by the pretty design and packaging of this product as the things you get inside don't do what they claim to do. Benefit may have some good products but this is not one of them. And it's was over priced for the mini sizes you get which do not work as well as you think they would.

Sorry my first review was a negative one, lol. But it's my honest opinion. Do you have the realness of concealness kit or any of these products from Benefit and what do you think of them? Also if you have any questions, feel free to ask :)

My cheetah nails- See post below for these. They're quite fun, lol.

Miss Sporty so matte perfect stay powder- This was a suprise to me, tbh I thought it'd be quite pants but I have to say I was proven wrong, it keeps the shine away without making me look cakey and it was around £2/£3. Bargain.

Natural collection blush in pink cloud- It's a baby pink, matte colour and I love it, adds a lovely flush of colour to the cheeks.

Eco tools blusher brush- Omg! This is the best blusher brush by far! It's incredibly soft and just the perfect size, everything about it is PERFECT. I got it in a set from Tescos with other brushes, so maybe I will do a review?

Avon kajal stick in black- I got three of these for £5 from avon a while ago, so i'm not sure if they still do them, but it's super creamy and just glides on.

Collection 2000 fast stroke eyeliner in black- I've been through loads of these, they're cheap and work well, love it!

Mac 217- I love this brush with all my heart! At £14 it's the not the cheapest, however it's such good quality and blends shadows amazingly.

Vaseline rosy lips- love it! Makes my lips smooth and I love the shine it gives them.

I think that's it. I think you guys should do this :D
